There are some unpleasant surprises in life.

Rare diseases, for example…

The likehood of such events always feels very distant to us. However, even if the probability is just 1 in a million, if you are affected by that disease, the odds for you are

 % 100.

Rare diseases affect over 300 million people worldwide. Unfortunately, 70% of these rare diseases occur in children, and 30% of these children do not survive under the age of 5.

And what about SMA disease?

Do you think it’s a rare disease?

Unfortunately, not! SMA occurs in 1 in 7,000 births. We cannot ignore this statistic!

One such unfortunate possibility has unfortunately affected one of my patients, dear baby Masal, who has been diagnosed with rapidly progressing SMA Type I. Masal needs to start treatment before reaching 2 years old and 13 kg.

This month, I am asking you to help baby Masal. I am providing you with the information on Masal’s approved fundraising campaign so you can contribute in any way you can.

Let’s spread this kindness together…

Wishing you all childlike days…
