Summer Ice Creams

Purple Coloured Fruit Ice Cream:

Ingredients: Yoghurt (probiotic), fresh and/or frozen fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries…).

Preparation: Blend the yoghurt and berries in a blender to obtain a smooth consistency. Transfer the mixture into an ice cream container and keep it in the freezer until it hardens. You can optionally add a little honey before freezing.

  • Probiotic yoghurt provides beneficial bacteria for digestive health. It supports your child’s bone health with its calcium content. Fruits are rich in antioxidants and fibres, strengthen the immune system and improve digestion.

Brown Cocoa Ice Cream:

Ingredients: Banana, cocoa powder, nut butter or chopped nuts.

Preparation: Slice the banana and put it in the freezer. After freezing, mix with cocoa powder in a blender. Optionally add hazelnut paste or chopped hazelnuts and mix. Put it back in the freezer and wait until it hardens.

  • Potassium and/or fibre in bananas provide additional benefits.
  • Hazelnuts contain healthy fats, provide energy and give a satisfying feeling.

Yellow Avocado Ice Cream:

Ingredients: Ripe avocado, sweetener (honey) lemon juice.

Preparation: Blend the avocado in a blender until smooth. Add the sweetener and lemon juice and blend again. Leave in the freezer until it hardens.

  • Avocado contains healthy fatty acids (omega-3), important for the brain development of your children.
